Life is good in Calgary
Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 6:01PM I took the LRT home today and as we crossed the Bow a man with a fly rod was standing in the river casting.
The Bow is one of the premier fly fishing rivers in the world. Fisherman come from around the world to try for the trout, especially the big brown trout.
We also have two of the largest urban parks in the world: Nose Hill in the north and Fish Creek in the south. And of course the mountains loom over us, and remind us that we're not as big as we think we are.
Just about to my stop. Time to put on my hiking boots and see what's new at Nose Hill and, even better, to see what's old.
